Most of the time, a 5.5 million dollar player scores big goals. Ours misses an empty net with the game on the line.

Not that Bolland has been a liability, but he doesn't produce and that contract still sucks. Especially after games like today. Just to think we probably could've used that money on a player we needed.

He was in too close rebound flew past him... doubt anyone gets their stick on that

Also barkov was down low on the goaline that one power play where he made a decent saucer pass out front which lead to a chance... that would be a good spot for him he's strong enough to force it to the goal and good enough vision and hands to make a play

Yep he got the puck over the defensemans stick. Did that in the opener vs. Pitt last season and Boyes scored.

19 seconds left is enough time to create 1-2 chances.

Stop make it sound like it was 5 seconds left.

Well caps did it at end of 1st with 20 seconds left and did the same thing it worked and they still didn't get a shot... u guys r ridiculous blaming pirri for that last play ... it's a desperation play that didn't work like throwing up a ball at the buzzer... pirri sucked lately tho and deserves a spot on the bench reguardless...tro was a bit better this game maybe he needs to play c

So which power play specialists are available for trade?
One guy won't change the way the whole unit plays it, though it might ease the zone entries.

It's as if Gallant has only done PP drills where the PK is constantly pressuring them to make a mistake, when in reality it varies by the opponent that how they play the PK. So Florida ends up handling the puck like a live grenade, even when they have the time and space to calm things down.
