Dang, we suck at 4 on 4 hockey. Depressing finish to a solid game played considering the circumstances.

Dubnyk was frustrating tonight. Edmonton nearly succeeded in breaking him. I'd like to say good job but, y'know, I want to see the Jets scoring goals.

Welp, hope you guys take the final WC spot.

Yeah, that paragraph kind of contains some half-formed thoughts that flow into each other. It's my half-dead tired stupor that made the post. It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out what I meant. As long as you don't kick us out of the playoff hunt, I don't care what you do.

"Jets fan coming in peace" (the most tired of the HF team fora memes, I know, but still) who just wanted to say that I see the seeds being sown, not only of a solid rivalry, but a civil one. Last time we played, I recall being in the Shark Club (casino / night club in downtown Winnipeg, one block from the Arena) about ten sheets to the wind, where I found myself at a blackjack table with two guys in Wild jerseys who made the trip down for the game.

I don't remember much except that we were all buying each other rounds and, thanks to my suggestion, with a little extra tip for the waitress, she was bringing us our scotches in these giant glass goblets that could easily have passed for the Holy Grail.

I'm just saying, you put a Philly fan and a Pittsburgh fan in a closed space and add even a couple of servings of liquor, and you have a Pier Six brawl on your hands. Yet somehow, the six of us managed to party the night away after the game without any sort of brouhaha whatsoever.

We may have got you this time, but I hope you use that extra point you got tonight to squeeze past one of those ingrate Pacific teams into the last spot. If LA ain't even gonna bother trying until game 75, why should they get the ticket ahead of you?

Well, I'd rather see you guys make it than Colorado, Dallas, LA or Vancouver.

Man, Nino had a bad game. Really disappointed. And I gotta wonder, when Suter is getting roughed up after the whistle, do we not feel the need to defend him? Or anyone else, for that matter?

It's the stupid thought that we'll get a PP and we'll hurt them there. Does anyone realize that this is teaching the players to not play for each other? To not standup up for each other? Championship teams standup for ******** that happens.

I agree mostly, it still takes a toll going after someone as well. Takes a lot less energy to stand there than it does pushing and shoving.

Parise going after Kesler after the Granny hit is playing for your teamate. Not getting suckered in to a pissing match is using your head.

With Cooke and Carter out it hurts, top it off with no Ballard and we lost alot of physical play.

Brodz and Prosser do what they can but no one is scared of them. Throw Bickel and Sutter out there and the extra stuff will decrease.
