I had a dream that we were down 3-2 going into the 3rd, and we all know what happens when we are down with one period to play. On a bright note I cant count how many times I've had dreams about being a gazillionare with beautiful women around me 24/7.....that one hasn't come true either.

Maurice is around the players continuously and there are many other coaches who will have their thoughts. Maurice has been at this for 20 years and well over a 1000 games. He will do anything it takes at this point to get past the line. Obviously he doesn't have confidence in Hutch being able to pull it off.

So he's even more terrible then we fear. You make a good point, he's been doing this for 20 years and he STILL has no clue how to manage goal tending.

I think he is doing the best he can trying to hold together a rather weak duo. My guess is he hasn't like what he has seen from Hutch, both in his games and with everything else going on with the team. I'm sure he'd love to throw out a C. Price. But he has to make a choice between a middling veteran and a struggling rookie...not ideal options. But it seems to me he trusts the spotty vet more then the struggling rookie at this point of the season.
