Yup. There is a ripple effect here regardless if you personally listen to radio. The goal is to make the Islanders and valuable, viable, and relevant as possible and getting on a radio station like WFAN, if only for 30 games, is one of a million things that ownership can do that is a positive step in the right direction.

Definitely. I give zero ****s about this decision, but it shows me that ownership is at least competent.

Unless I'm mistaken, per the leaked leased agreement, it's Barclays that controls the radio rights, so this is primarily them, not Isles ownership.

Who ****ing cares about radio broadcasts???

For the sake of argument, if a radio station has broadcast rights to a team, then they will be more inclined to talk about that team during other shows
