-intercontinental champion is not on the card
-us title is on Smackdown and the challenger would leave Raw with it
-returning star who has been back for a month had no program and is doing a segment on the pre-show
-tag champs can't use their over gimmick
-women's champ, in her hometown, is being set up for a feud that won't start for another 2 months

should be a great show

So this looks like a really nice card. Full of guys I like in match ups that I also like, so I'm expecting good things. It would be nice if Bálor had a match, but he's waiting on other things to clean up so it's understandable. At least he'll probably deck Miz^^.

Not sure what match of the night will be. Hopefully it's Rollins vs Joe, but Reigns vs Strowman could be awesome again. Neville vs Aries is also a really good match. It's a good problem to have.

The lack of Lesnar is a bit lame as it's the first PPV with him as champion, but gotta build a good contender for him or it's just a dead match.

I'm not 100% sure it's not for the title as I've not watched Raw yet, and it was apparently a bad show so I'll probably skip a lot of it. The WWE site didn't mention it was for the title when I was getting the pictures, so I assume it isn't.


But it's one of those things I'm really not fussed by with WWE. They obviously don't plan anything and they always end up in some kind of mess. So when it comes to things like title re-matches I just accept it and move on. If I got angry at everything the WWE does like that then I'd be bitter all the time, far more enjoyable to just accept that WWE is gonna WWE and move on with it.

As much as I'd like WWE to be booked as well as NJPW, it's just not going to happen. But at least they constantly give me good matches, so I'm happy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bray won, this seems like a great time to invoke the "time honored tradition". Randy puts over Bray to make him look strong on the new show but gets to keep his title and move on to [shudders] Jinder Mahal.

Possible setting to the Orton Wyatt match from cage side seats.

Apparently the Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt House of Horrors match at Payback may be partially taped, with the end of the match happening in the arena but the beginning pre-taped somewhere else.

WWE actually sent out a survey to fans asking them what they’d like to see in the match, with options including darkness, fire and pitchforks. It seems WWE may still be unsure exactly what the match entails, and thus, is using fan input to try to create the best scenario for a bout that is shaping up to be a bit campy. Then again, wrestling fans seems to like that these days.

yeah, but then they moved Wyatt to Raw instead of Styles so the title match was out the window otherwise they would have done the same gimmick they're doing with the U.S. Title.
