USA played well during The 1st Period, especially defending against The Swedes' initial flurry and on The PK. They had several nice rushes with decent scoring chances during the 2nd half of the period. Snuggeruud, Lindstein, and Stenberg all looked good. I look for them to come out strong in The 2nd.
