To be fair, there's no way an injury would be enough to prevent a top 10 finish. He already has 70 assists, which is a ~top 5 finish in current scoring environment.

70 assists would would him tied for 13th in points.

About as consistent as one can be in today’s game. Basically always first or second in assists, points, and PPG.

I used to read these things about Gretzky getting 20+ assists in 8 or 9 games and just thought that was ridiculous and will never happen again. I am glad to get to see it. McDavid is playing like a beast right now.
