I am glad I didn't watch this game closely. I mean I heard a lot of goal horns, I knew the Jets were going to lose this game. After 4 of them I turned it off. Friday afternoon game, not the Jets strength.

But that saying, hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, was on display. Having 3 elite forwards get beat by a 4th line of Sturm-Bjustad-Duhaime right off the hop sets the tone. Getting blown out by a d-corps of Brodin-Dumba, Merrill-Gologoski, Kulikov-Benn, is embarassing, what did Chevy spend all that money for?

I wonder where the heart of this team is right now. Because gut check is coming up empty.

I like where we are at.
I like our compete.
We’re aren’t cheating pucks.
We have some good pros on the room.
It’s a grind,
Adversity will bring our team together.
These guys have been through the ups and downs.
They play a mans game.
A couple of bounces change everything.
The Wild don’t give you much.
Talbot takes away the angles.
Nik is not playing the system.
Mark is trying to do too much.
We are in the hard part of the schedule.

I like your compete, you compose a man's sonnet.

Actually looks like a combination sonnet/haiku overlaid with 7 metric tonnes of sarcasm.:laugh:

I wish to thank the Jets for all warnings they gave in the prior 4 games, about how once again they are reverting to their underachieving selves. I was convinced that I should avoid this game at all costs and left the TV off. Thank you Jets for living down to my expectations and sparing me from watching a single second of this debacle.

What happened to Laine? Wheeler and Shiefele pout if ice goes down? Are there better options?Jets gave up before second intermission. No idea if that’s true but Once a coach sucks up to “ star” players in a team sport you are finished regardless of talent.
