Forgot about him. Very surprising, the difference between NHL scouts and others in their views of him.

I can believe it, but I think teams will be wishing they'd grabbed him. It will be interesting to see how he performs next season.

Goalie Reid Ellingson, teams didn't like his size, so what if he's 5'9, he's still a very good goalie.
Forward Micheal Connolly, not as surprising as Ellingson.
Dion Knelsen and Ryan Lasch probably due to their lack of size.

his stats almost mimic Gistedt from the year when he went undrafted.

Any chance Engstrand plays in the Elitserien next year?

I can't speak for NA players but from Europeans:
    Stich
    Valach
    Owuya
    Ankert
    Marcel Mueller
    Bezak
    Ylven
    Kokkala
    Karamnov
    Lauridsen

I think the answer is that teams don't want to draft 18 y.o. Europeans because they will lose their rights in 2 years.
Of course teams draft TOP talent, but if previously teams often selected European in late rounds, now they would rather go after NA player, or European Overager. The point of drafting overagers is that teams would have their rights until this guys would be 22-23 y.o. when it's much more simple to decide sign him or not, than when he is 20.

Roman Bashkirov and Eric Doyle (who I was very surprised at, as he was predicted to be a first rounder last year and was rated fairly high by ISS) He'll probably be drafted next year when he re-enters the draft.

David Stich (hoping to be a canuck)
Eric Doyle (better than 30th overall Nick Ross)
Juraj Valach (6'7, 215, Gm's should get kicked for that)
    Mark Owuya
Roman Bashkirov (Ottawa, you idiots, you draft Ruslan but you drop Roman)
Dion knelsen (screw up for everyone)
MIKE BIEGA!!!!!! (stupid, Biega is first class talent)
Yello****n (overaged, but people talked about him)
    Patrick Lundh
    Brett Regner (amazing..)
    Mitch Czibere
Kurtis Mucha (7th rounder for sure... in my books)

worst draft ever for my canucks

Total crapshoot, im hoping next year will be ALOT better.. did Skokan get drafted.

I dont know about you guys, but I had a problem with Tristin Llewellyn not getting drafted.

Wasnt this kid top 10 material a year and a half ago? I understand that his stock has dropped, but to go from being a top 10 pick, to not getting drafted in under 2 years is pretty bad. I know a few publications had him in their top 100. He is headed to Michigan I believe this fall, so this is my WHAT THE **** WERE THEY THINKING non pick! I hope he reenters next year and goes really high.
