Seventh QB to be picked, went in the 6th round.

You guys are talking about the 18th round pick of the Montreal expos in the 95 MLB draft? Scrub couldn't even play a single game, what a fail.

Probably 3rd round. Though I could see a Size Queen GM taking him in the 2nd round

Most 6th round picks never even play an NHL game, let alone become a regular staple in the bottom 6. He’s one of the biggest name rookies this year and is a topic of discussion, it’s interesting to see where GM’s would value him now. I think he’d definitely go higher than he did. For reference no player selected in the 4th round of his draft has even played as many NHL games as he has.

He is a non factor other than amusement and counting games suspended.

Until he shows he can do more than skate, hit, and be big, he's going to be the type of player targeted for the middle to lower end of the draft. He has little offensive talent that's required to produce points which is what most teams look for in the opening rounds of the draft. His size and speed make him unique but outside of that, there's not much there to want to draft him with a high round pick.
