I didn't expect him to be this good until he was 25-26 years old... Incredible.
Ok, Hughes, Lafreniere and Slafkovsky did it. They turned it around. Next up, Kakko?
Yakupov scored his first hat-trick in game 48, Slafkovský took 30 games longer.
Oh no, back into the bust territoryYakupov scored his first hat-trick in game 48, Slafkovský took 30 games longer.
Agreed, Yakupov is miles ahead!Yakupov scored his first hat-trick in game 48, Slafkovský took 30 games longer.
Held down by noted terrorist josh anderson (and had like a 2% shooting% early in the year)What do you mean everyone told me he sucks?
Ok, Hughes, Lafreniere and Slafkovsky did it. They turned it around. Next up, Kakko?
Up to 12g 31a on the year 5v5. Very strong numbers for a 19 year old. Love to see it3 x even strength goals. I hear EV goals counts as double!
Atleast, we didn't turn a 3rd overall pick into Christian Dvorak. It was other people who brought up Amirov.
34 points EV for Slaf and counting.Up to 12g 31a on the year 5v5. Very strong numbers for a 19 year old. Love to see it
I wouldnt say either is better than the other right now but I think both will be good players just not sure how good
Excellent year for the kid.34 points EV for Slaf!
LOLExcellent year for the kid.
Ironically enough, imo he was playing just as well early in the year, with just awful shooting luck and no help, and stuck on PP2 (I blame noted terrorist Josh Anderson for all of this).
Now a much better situation, PP1 time, and some very good shooting luck.
All evens out.
I'd still take Nemec over him, but Slaf is the clear number 2 imo, and frankly has been all year.
Pretty safe bet that El Jefe will tell us they both suck. Can’t wait to see these boards when Slavkovsky and Lafreniere are Hart nominees in 5 years.
