Not pitching shut outs for sure but if you're not going to fire him you have to extend him and 1 year is the minimum so take that for what it's worth??

I didn't get the impression they were happy with our goaltending or going to sign Montoya. My sense was that they were talking......nothing more nothing less. I would not be surprised at all if he Jets are shopping while talking.
