questionable any of those 3 get the first overall.

by the sounds of it Dahlin might be shaping up to be the best dman of this generation.

why would any team trade that for players that look like they very well might be the floor for him?

Dahlin's got some unreal hype behind him. Hopefully he can live up to the expectation, or he's going to have a real bad time.

No. Dahlin is low risk, high reward, so there's no need to play it safe taking someone like Matthews instead.

Thats just wrong. EVERY pick has risk. Much more risk than youre assuming. On top of that, dmen are a lot harder to assess this early compared to their forward counterparts.

Just for curiosity sake, what is this "low risk" status that makes his floor better than a 40 goal scoring teenage centre?

His development would have to stall seriously to be on par with Karlsson, that's how good he is already. So if a Karlsson is a pessimistic projection, then I'll take him over Matthews anytime.

is this really the level of hype for this kid?.. being a 2 time norris winner is a pessimistic projection? anyone thats watched him play wanna chime in?
