What will Calder Cup MVP Johnsson's NHL season look like next year?

What's AJ's production next season?

I'm predicting 50+ points, I think he has 60 point potential. Considering he had a tear of ~50 points in 33 games, and NHLe translation is .5 of AHL production, the math supports that potential.

What do you think his stat line is? What line does he play on?

I'm saying 50 with 2nd PP time as the net front guy, and a key PK player

Will like coming back to this thread in the future

I can't see him getting 50+ points , I'd love it but for him to get there he'd have to be in the top 6 and he's not going to be, fact is Babcock LOVES him some Zach Hyman in his life and he's not taking Nylander Marner or Marleau's job

There is no top 6 spot.

No Nylander is not a crnter

There's no reason to not expect him to get PP time.

Babcock played him on PP over Kapanen, and he looked great on the Matthews-Nylander unit. My guess for the PP next year is:

PP1
Matthews
Kadri-Marleau-Marner
Rielly

PP2
Johnsson
Kapanen-Leivo(if he's in)-Nylander
Gardiner

Did you make them look like dicks & label them as PP1 & PP2 on purpose.....?

I doubt if his scoring prowess translates to the NHL that easily. With Komarov, JVR gone and I believe Nylander will be at centre, that's three wingers positions open.
My thought he starts at LW with Nylander at centre and either Hyman or Kapanen at RW.
