San Fran should have home field pretty locked up now, barring some bad losses to teams they should handle. Philly still controls their destiny for the NFC East if they win out as of now, as they have a stronger sov than Dallas which is where the tie would currently be broken if both finish 13-4.
SF should win the nfc even if TF hey lose their last tough game vs Bal. Own the H2H tie breaker over both Dal and Phi.

Strength of victory could flip, so Philly does not control their own destiny for the division

To be clear, it's not likely to, but it's possible.

Random little stats like that are always weird. I know Aaron Donald has never recorded a sack vs PHI, and Kyler Murray is like 19-0 all time in AT&T Stadium.
This year was the first time the Eagles had ever lost to the Jets, though they obviously don’t play often, but that was the last remaining one.

Only difference in who they played are Phi got the division winners, thus Minny and TB and in the cross over got KC. Dal as #2 seed got Det, CAR, and LAC.
TB way over on Car. KC over LAC but Det over Minny.

H2H, then division, then conference tie breakers.
Phi has lost to Jets, SF, Dal, and Sea. 3 NFC teams. Dal lost to SF, AZ, Buf, and Phi. Both have 3 NFC losses.

They haven't lost to the Texans either yet. 6-0.

Philly's remaining schedule: NYG x2, Arizona

Dallas's remaining schedule: Miami, Detroit, Washington.

I would still argue the Eagles are in the driver's seat. There's literally zero excuse for them to not win out and 2/3 of the Cowboys games are against actual teams (Miami might be 0-fer against winning teams but they played Philly and KC really close in those losses)

I also find it very interesting how the Eagles are 0-3 since Nick Bosa declared the Niners had a blueprint on how to stop Jalen Hurts and his offense. Smoked by the Niners, smoked by Dallas (after Bosa said he was going to share said plans with them) and then a crushing loss to Seattle.

Nick Bosa also called Trevor Lawrence a "one read wonder" and that teams need to force him to play QB...the Jags are 2-4 since

The Cardinals are going to play the Eagles hard. Gannon will have them up for that one.

The Giants, who knows, they just let Derek Carr boat race them. Hurts could be in a literal diarrhetic fit on the field and be better than that guy.

It's strength of victory, not strength of schedule.

The difference in victories would be as follows if they both win out(cancelling out common victories and wins over each other since they'd be tied)
DAL: NYJ, LAC, CAR, DET, SEA
PHI: ARI, BUF, KC, TB, MIN

Again, yes, Philly's advantage there is significant. But it is not clinched so you cannot say that Philly controls their own destiny. This scenario where Dallas tops Philly in SoV even has Buffalo and KC winning two games each the rest of the way AND two games to spare: Playoff Predictors

It would take a pretty big flip based on current numbers. Not to mention, relatively decent chance the Eagles run the table and Dallas drops at least one more game given their schedules.

For those debating the Eagles/Cowboys, it doesn't matter. The Eagles are playing terribly and most likely will be one and done. They may win out but I wouldn't put anything past them.
Jesus Christ I hate having to cross check this shit from people that should know better. Must have been a minimum of games or something. That’s the second time in 2 days.
I dont think a team from Houston has ever beaten them.

Is it fair to say the Chiefs rematch was their Super Bowl? Lucky win with the drops, but the coach yelling at the fans after the game, and 0-3 since.

They easily could have been 0-5 in their last 5. Normal officiating in the Bills game and it’s out of touch in the first half. Chiefs WRs don’t have bricks for hands and they lose that one too.

The truth is that they aren’t remotely as good this year as they were last year

The Eagles are fraudulent.

Brian Johnson might be the worst OC in the league. The offense is so stagnant and gross. No motion, no easy throws. People are putting a lot of blame on Hurts (who has not been great) but he is being asked to one man carry this offense. They miss Steichen baaaaad. who was clearly the mastermind of the offense (check out the results he's getting with Minshew).

Defense finally looked better last night then let f***in Drew Lock go 92 yards for the win. Unbelievable.

Bradberry is killing them. But, also on Roseman for taking edge rusher Smith with their own 1st rounder vs drafting a CB like Porter Jr. Patricia should not have left him on an island.

OC, yeah, this happens when your coach doesn't call plays unlike Shanny, Reid, McVay, etc. and they lose their OC. Bills O not the same without Daboll. Philly not the same without Steichen.

Howie has a formula, and secondary in round 1 ain’t it. Pass rush is though and that was/is a need. Nolan Smith can barely get on the field, and that is a problem for your 1st round pick, especially when you’re in an arms race.
