Won't be able to watch the game tonight, but if they can stay out of the box and get under the Ducks' skin (not that hard to be honest), they could pull it off. Oh, and limit the dumb mistakes/giveaways as much as possible. I'm still livid at Flip's mistake :

If Chicago doesn't wipe the floor with the Wings, they've got problems. I'm with you though...getting a decent pick as a consolation prize ain't so bad.

I see what you're saying....but making the conference finals means we would have to beat Chicago. If we can beat Chicago we can certainly beat whoever is next.


But we won't beat chicago, so it's fine.

I just pray we don't come out flat for this game and not even show up when it matters most. We all know this team has a habit from time to time of suddenly forgetting how to put the puck in the net. Win or lose, I'm just happy we kept the playoff streak going...this team far exceeded my expectations for the season..so if we win, great, more experience for the youngsters, if not..reload in the offseason.

I'm as disappointed with Flipper this season as anybody, but isn't that a play that is made 100x a game? With the expectation that the rest of your team is also playing hockey and properly positioned to receive that pass?
