This. Didn't see much flopping tonight, but the fans wanted a call on every hit. Guess that's also what happens when your team is known for diving.

From Game 6 of the '16 WCQF through Game 2 of the '18 WCQF, the Predators had a 15-2 at home in postseason competition.

Since Game of the '18 WCQF through today, the Preds are 2-6 since then.

Regression to the mean is a bitch.

And not just that- they're losing games by multiple goals.

In the 15-2 stretch, 1 of those losses was in OT (and that was after NSH made a gallant comeback) and the other was on a goal in the final 2 minutes and an empty netter.

Last year, every WPG loss was by multiple goals.

When those hits are interference, I don't blame them! I saw a lot of those. However, I don't recall any of those being whistled.

You get more leeway in the playoffs.

Same old Predators... their defensemen once again making up the bulk of their leading scorers. Nobody up front keeping up with guys like Benn and Seguin.

You'd think somebody like Poile would be able to address their need for offense at some point, but here we are several years and counting...

Well, they have company along with our defense and goaltending. Our diving game is sharp though (the tears of Ducks and Blues fans provide ample room to work on that ).

Lol, I love when pred fans bring up that they always beat us in the playoffs. Yeah it sucks but in the end you always ended up in the same place as us. At least we got a Cup banner in our rafters.
