It looked nasty in real time, can't blame the refs too much. They don't have the benefit of multiple angle replay like we do.Can anyone explain how that should have been a penalty?

It was a very dirty hit. That was a dirty hit by Perry no matter what the DoPS does. Absolutely suspension worthy.
No clue what they will do though.
Can I ask for what exactly? That was a dirty hit by Perry no matter what the DoPS does. Absolutely suspension worthy.

I agree, but people are still saying a penalty was the right call.It looked nasty in real time, can't blame the refs too much. They don't have the benefit of multiple angle replay like we do.
I don’t at all. Just a stupid decision.
That's not the rule. Karlsson was in reach of the loose puck and therefore eligible to be hit.Checked a player that doesn’t have possession of the puck, so interference
You can't be serious right now, if so, go see an eye doctor.Again, look at the drew doughty hit. He hit the shoulder, from the side, and the guy had the puck, and no penalty was called. But the impact affected the head, so he was suspended. This one even had the penalty called, though the hit was nearly identical. No one in LA thought Doughty had any chance of being suspended. said all the same things. Yet he was suspended, because the league needs to show it is cracking down on things like that.

He really killed their momentum with that dumb play.Perry is an idiot
