If that goal is overturned, and the refs decide to call one of the many Oiler penalties in third, Avs win this probably 9-6. This game both sides can cry about refs.Oilers win the game if not for the BS call.
seems like the Avs were a little overrated. 99% of the hockey world thinks that's an offside. the technicality is the only reason the "juggernaut" won a one goal game, lmao
Meh exactly like game 1 in Calgary. But back in reality land, Oilers lose this game. And avs only put up 8 since the refs allowed the oilers to tinder rape anyone they wanted.
Haha..as if Avs weren't clutching grabbing and diving throughout the game. If reffing was even Oilers would have way more PPs than Avs.But back in reality land, Oilers lose this game. And avs only put up 8 since the refs allowed the oilers to tinder rape anyone they wanted.
Pretty much this. Colorado got all the breaks and refs special touch first 2 periods and homer Colorado fans screaming for calls in the third. LolOilers win the game if not for the BS call.
So if the goal is overturned and the refs call one extra penalty the Avs somehow score an extra goal?If that goal is overturned, and the refs decide to call one of the many Oiler penalties in third, Avs win this probably 9-6. This game both sides can cry about refs.
I think the rule is stupid too, but it’s still the rule.
Breh check the poll on HF. It isn't 99%seems like the Avs were a little overrated. 99% of the hockey world thinks that's an offside. the technicality is the only reason the "juggernaut" won a one goal game, lmao
Oh please like the Avs didn’t away with a bunch of picks all 1st period and like 12 holds on mcdavid alone. If that goal is overturned, and the refs decide to call one of the many Oiler penalties in third, Avs win this probably 9-6. This game both sides can cry about refs.
The Funniest part, the Oilers deliberately tanked this game, just like Calgary Game 1. 2 woody's coming for you.
Avs still win I'm sure but you are exaggerating refs helping Oilers. If that goal is overturned, and the refs decide to call one of the many Oiler penalties in third, Avs win this probably 9-6. This game both sides can cry about refs.
Oh please like the Avs didn’t away with a bunch of picks all 1st period and like 12 holds on mcdavid alone.
Comments like this are so interesting. How do you rationalize retroactively removing a single moment in a game and then expect the remainder of the game to play out the same? It's a tie game w/ two periods to play if that call is overturned. Plenty of things could be different if you remove a single moment and then naively pretend everything else would be the same. It's actually mindboggling logic.seems like the Avs were a little overrated. 99% of the hockey world thinks that's an offside. the technicality is the only reason the "juggernaut" won a one goal game, lmao

I think something about Edmonton brings the worst defensive game out of everyone, including their opponentsGood game Oilers. You have a hell of a squad. It basically came down to who's goalie wanted to stop less pucks.
The rule has been called this way multiple times in the past couple of years. The precedent has been set and they’re calling it as such. You think it is a stupid rule because it is being interpreted incorrectly.
1) delayed offside is afforded to teams that give up possession. Like a dump in. It isn’t meant to apply when a team has possession.
2) He had possession. He knocked it on to himself.
3) if he didn’t have possession, and didn’t dump it in, than he clearly deflected it in. If an Oiler deflected it in, then Makars teammate would be allowed to pick it up. If Makar himself puts it in, his teammate can’t.
3) the teammate doesn’t need to pick it up because Makar had it the whole time. He knocked it forward into his own path.
4) See number 1
LolPut Smith back in for game 2 plz
