Caps had a 5 game streak that nobody liked killed by San Jose. Chicago has a 7 game streak killed by the Capitals. Makes you wonder if Hawks fans were poo pooing their winning streak and saying their team's fatal flaws were exposed by the Caps?

How have the Hawks done in the playoffs?

You mean that Hawks fans are less critical than other fans because they have won? That's ok to be average this season? I would think just the opposite

Be real, Gooner. If the Caps were a nearly perfect juggernaut this season, we would not trust it and would be poking all the holes we could in it. Then telling anyone getting on the band wagon not to be a namby pamby

Too many hypotheticals.

Fact is the Hawks have won 3 Cups recently and we have none. Our history is littered with great regular seasons and playoff collapses. Chicago fans are not seriously going to take last night's loss as a sign of anything because their franchise allows them to be patient right now. The Caps winning in November is pretty meaningless to most Caps fans but for a different reason.
