SCOUTING REPORT
The shifty, elusive forward has great hands, excellent offensive instincts and a terrific wrist shot that should keep him in the NHL for years. He knows how to get into dangerous scoring areas and can play either wing position. Lacks ideal size for an NHL forward, does not have great top-end speed and occasionally plays too much on the periphery. However, he should be able to score enough to keep earning ice time.

Long Range Potential: Shifty winger with a big-time shot.

Currently on 2nd year of 3year / $1.45M AAV deal

Pitlick is on "Emergency Loan" becauwse we did not have 20 healthy bodies to ice.

Rem has played four games during this Emergency Loan recall. He can play five more before being returned to Laval, in order to avoid starting a regular recall stint, with its own 9 game maximum.

Pitlick would also have to go back down if we have enough healthy bodies to fill a 20 man roster, or once again his recall would have to convert to a regular recall and the ten game clock starts ticking.

So if we pick up a healthy player on waivers who becomes the 20th healthy guy, Piktlick is liukely the one being sent back down and it won't require waivers, whereas Pezzetta would require waivers to be sent down.

If we do not claim Kolvanen, we can still switch out Pitlick and Richard under Emergency Loan.

I agree & with that AAV if he went on a heater we could flip him, this year or next. We really need to clear out some of our deadwood up front cuz I’d like to give Anthony Richard (AHL) a shot too.

Contract limits is definitely an issue and probably a desire not to be the team that throws veteran players on waivers just 'cause they are struggling.

Players like Bellows benefits from their father's acting as personal trainer since they were born, so they often are better when they are children and teenagers, but once the competition get steep and they don't have them natural talent to play against the best they fall.

His first year in the ncaa was bad and it's been as bad since then.
