I thought that the "not a national game" loophole got closed in the Sportsnet/HNIC/NHL contract? Before that, we nearly always played afternoon games on Saturday.

Going to Sweden in the middle of the regular season is stupid. This screws up our schedule for the entire year. More back-to-back games, less days off during the year....it has the potential to cost us a few points over the course of the year.
