Don't know anything about this guy but dissapointed we didn't take skal as I had him much higher. Guess they really can't shoot or have other flaws that a armchair college basketball watcher doesn't see

Ya it definitely seems like they're going for a Biz replacement on that one. Rebounder/energy guy

Chad Ford is full of ****. As per him, the Raptors were thinking hard on Skal at 9th overall. By that theory, they should have been jumping to select him at 27th.

Anyway, here's a blurb on Pascal.

DraftExpress: Teams were talking about Pascal Siakam as a kind of Tristan Thompson-lite in weeks leading up to the draft. Energetic. Mobile.Tough as nails

I have faith in the Siakam pick. Seems like a rotation guy who we need. I think Poetl may of been drafted to show his skills and be used as a trade chip later on. Basically the draft board said he was the guy they had to go with.

Of course the Spurs get Murray. Probably a blessing in disguise falling to them. Gets to be coached by Pop.

Damian Jones to the Warriors.

Davis will be a 2nd rounder this year. Anyone have his reaction to the Siakam pick? EDIT: Here it is.

Siakam is actually interesting. He may be 22 but he exploded in the WAC last season and completely dominated the conference. Next year he will be 905 bound but once he fills in he could be an impact guy on the offensive glass. He also has some kind of a mid range game for a big man and could turn into an Amir Johnson type of PnR specialist.

I laughed a little and said "gross" at the Poetl pick. But I admit I'm a bit of a stereotyper who is against choosing tall, slow white guys. It very well may be a good pick in a thin draft. Overall: meh

Man I feel really bad for Deyonta Davis. You were hyped as a top 15 pick for the whole time and you slip to the 2nd round. Better use it as motivation, but there must be something the GMs know that we don't know. Who knows this could turn out to be another Hassan Whiteside story, or Perry Jones.

Here's his reaction and rightfully so. Who the **** did Masai Ujiri pick? Doesn't really matter.

I love the Poetl pick. Seems like a very safe choice. Analytics gurus have him the least likely player to bust. But please don't turn him into a stretch big.

Yeah but they passed on Skal, who has much much higher upside. I kinda mad that Masai is content with just making the playoffs. Skal is a boom or bust pick, but if he booms, the team has a chance to make the Finals. The player that were taken today doesn't get us past the Cavs and now Boston, NY might overtake us too.....maybe we should just rebuild.

Davis finally gets drafted by Boston at 31. They immediately trade him afterwards.
