My girlfriend watched Wandavision despite not watching any of the Marvel movies.

Trying to confuse her, I asked "When does this take place, before or after Endgame?"

I have no idea what Wandavision is even about, but Vision was murdered at the end of Infinity War, so it seems like a reasonable question
It makes sense of you follow the mcu

The show outlines everything

Criticism of DC and plot holes is fine but marvel movies are actually competent

The whole concept of Tobias pretending to be an English housekeeper to get closer to Maebe is hilarious

American humour

Perhaps the best thing about the pandemic is how much content has just been thrown up online LEGALLY for free or for a small fee

Like there are so many movies on Hulu, Peacock, Disney+, et al

I think it's mostly US getting all these as streaming is different internationally

you're right on that

it became just too mainstream but that doesn't mean it's not nerd shit

nerds love marvel too and marvel is mainstream

Well, it stops being nerd shit when the writers start trying to appeal to the mainstream audience, alienating the nerds in the process.

Once some dickweed shows up talking about market research and ratings, it's as good as ruined
