As much as I liked GotG when it came out, James Gunn hasn't done shit to impress me since.

And everyone, especially Marvel, has run the GotG format into the f***ing ground, as evidenced by Suicide Squad being just wacky and stupid.

Guardians managed to capture lightning in a bottle and way too many film studios said "That looks easily replicable" and proceeded to copy the most tired and unoriginal parts of the movie.

"Our movie needs a bunch of songs. Never mind Guardians having a storyline reason to play all those songs, we just want songs in our movie."
