well his scenario would give us Kunitz, Kapanen, Bennett and Hornqvist. i just don't think I expect Kunitz and Kapanen to have much overlap as top 6 wingers.

Neither do I and Bennett isn't a guarantee. Neither is Kapanen. My point is that you need to always be backfilling the pipeline with young top 6 options. You don't look at your 1 top 6 wing prospect and think "well **** we have it wrapped up now. let's just wait and acquire rentals with 1st rounders in the mean time".
