Yeah. And when he was our #1 C on a **** team he was hovering around 60 points. His points dropped when he got pushed down to the 2c

Its the whole argument people have with Strome would be as good as Eberle with more opportunity. Same with RNH
So his numbers should decline now that he's on a good team? Dude plays more minutes than he did in the his rookie year

Actually just makes too much sense for both teams.

I wonder if you went further to make it more well rounded perhaps.

To MTL: Nuge, Maroon, Auvitu and a 2nd 2019

To EDM: Pacioretti, Davidson and McCarron

The minutes are substantially different.
His rookie year he played average 17:36 a game. Mostly 5v5 and PP
This last year he averaged 17:42 thats with him being a penalty killer and playing less PP time.

His 2 56 point seasons were averaged at a 20:24 and 20:38.

His numbers declined because he plays more PK, less PP and plays more defensive zone starts than he used to. His role has changed so his numbers have gone down.

Nuges even strength PP/60 is identical to what it was in 2013-2014 (first full NHL season) with lesser line mates. With much better possesion stats and a worse PDO. and 10% less offensive zone starts.

Here is the numbers ya need

I know this isn't the injury thread, but did anybody ever hear why this prognosis was so much different than other knee injuries? It's pretty common for player to blow up their knee at the beginning of the season, and return for the playoffs. This is a 6-7 month timeline roughly. Sekera has already been injured 6 months, and people are talking like he's 2 months away still at the minimum. Why the difference?
But it hasn't been six months, he was injured in early-to-mid May.

Can someone message me some info on these Draisaitl rumors?

If I understand correctly, basically someone somewhere claimed that the Drai injury was sustained in a bar fight and the internet ran with it despite there being absolutely no evidence that that is true.

Wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Some idiot on Twitter who tweets BS all the time says Draisaitl got punched at a bar, and people are actually falling for it.

Even if he did he wouldn't be getting traded because of it. Few other well known Oilers who have been in bar fights in Edmonton. Now if he pulled a Jeff Carter, then I wouldn't have been surprised to see him get traded.

The guy was probably inferring the other guy in the alleged incident.

Someone on the boards here also said Drai was supposed to be out until February as they had a "friend" with info at the U of A (I assume medical staff).

So much shit goes around in rumours and 99% is BS.

That's just terrible.
It's funny that this is the rumour. I heard that the boys were partying at maroons and drai got lit up and fell and hit his head on a marble pool table. Lol it's Edmonton were rumours are constantly spread

So you can see in this thread the video and pic of Trouba hitting Draisaitl with an elbow to the head.
