Perfetti plays LW not RW so not sure why you figure he was drafted to fill that slot. Chevy said they saw him as a center as well so I have no idea why people are now on he will be a winger bandwagon outside of a small sample size tournament.
They will try him at center and if he doesn't stick there then he will likely play LW with Ehlers moving to the right side.
Also the lack of respect JoMo has gotten around here after one bad season is astonishing. He has shown that when played with a good partner he can be a top pairing all around dmen over 3 seasons. He has paced averaged over 40 points per 82 game season over the last few years without getting number 1 PP time. So he isn't a pure shutdown guy he puts up pretty strong point totals as well. He is an all around dmen and can get back to that level imo.
Pesce provided he is healthy would fit really well with him and allow Morrissey to be a bit more aggressive offensively. Necas is a solid young piece that likely slides into Laine's slot on RW. I personally would like a draft pick added to offset some of the risk that we are taking but it isn't a package that is far off from the Duchene one that really set Colorado up.
