A win today and thats 4-0 since the Rielly incident

I Dont think people here would have expected us to be 4-1 in this 5 game stretch if we had Rielly + Marner/JT/Nylander healthy for every game

Team has been phenominal since the sejs game. Get 2 pts today and then get ready to welcome Rielly back.
What ever happened to the ItalianLeaf who said the Leafs were better without Rielly and he looked prophetic after 44 was injured last year and Leafs went something 12-2-1 without him. Regular season is one thing but I doubt we can win w/o Rielly in the playoffs.

Gregor hasn't done much lately so I get the scratch.

I Iike that they're giving mcmann a chance and spreading out the offense more.

Hopefully they can get a big first win on the road and keep it going from there.

Let's go Leafers

McMann has earned the look on line 2. Drive the net, speed in the forecheck, let Tavares enter late and send the clean up pass to Willy. Bertuzzi looked good with Domi and Robertson in the flu game.

Bottom defense pairing…….., would be easy to right them off, but I hope they keep it simple. Rifai has a bit of bite to him. Liked him in preseason as well. Keep it simple safe. Don’t spend anytime in your end.

Gregor scratched for the bad penalty? Or injured.

that bottom pair….is a solid 2nd pairing in the ahl

Surprised we didn’t call up Niemela or kokkonen or Villeneuve, instead opting for rafai

Tbh I don’t know much about his game compared to the other two so idk if it’s a good thing or not that we chose him

Kypreos says Matthews going for 70 could be a bad thing, a dIistraction and suck the air out of the dressing room…..only in Toronto, sheesh.
Evidence that his job is to throw "stuff" st the wall and see what sticks.

Funny how we did amazing when he was out last year as well. That might’ve been the best stretch of hockey the Leafs played somehow

Agree. I haven't listened to the second hour since they started with it. I can read about the other teams. I do still listen to about 75% of the Leafs Hour shows though (via podcast).
