If he does what he has been doing, no one will blink at the AAV. They bought a couple of UFA years. He has to perform, but there is no reason to believe he won't. It is a big stake by GMBM, but, they have a cup and are keeping the gang together.

Not thrilled with it but like you said this signs him for his prime years and players that play Wilson’s style typically start to decline at the age this contract ends.

BMac loves Willy as much as we do. His development spike in recent years made him tough to peg on a long term deal. BMac wanted him and stepped up to the plate. He is betting we are going to get more than we have seen.

To hell with PP time, I want to see Kuzy setting him up at ES. Regardless, he should focus on his slot one timer. Hang with Conno and try to copy that quick release. Crash and bang and then head to the net.
