Before his back injury he would have fetched one retained at the deadline. Luckily Washington did us a solid for taking Alzner as a free agent.

Unless we're somehow dumping Chiarot, I don't see how Detroit would be a player here.

We could just send Seider to AHL to fully complete our plug lineup. Sign Petry for 4-5 years that way we can keep all of our prospects completely off the NHL team longterm. Hopefully we can draft outside the top 5 again too. I can't wait for our next rebuild, the one that will start right after we never get out of the current one.

Pretty sure he was surprise when he learned he was traded to Montréal.
