MacEwen, out of the penalty box, in on a breakaway and Ingram, the goalie, took him out on a sliding effort.
6:09 left and the Comets back to a PP. As occurs so often a comets shot is blocked and the opponent gets a shot in the Comets end. It was wide.

Not much doing here. You need a set of skilled players for a successful PP and the Comets are way short on those type of players. 3 are in Vancouver and one was traded from one of the the AHL's top PPs. You can't just replace these guys with people who don't have the same skill sets and expect things to stay the same.

The Comets arch nemesis is rearing its ugly head again tonight. Their scoring ineptitude. it would be the 4th time being shut out in the last 10 games.
