I really like Gaudette but I have a tough time thinking of him as a #1 NHL Center.

I mean... yeah. I have a tough time seeing any prospect as a 1C but I'm saying that his production is in company with a lot of high level NHLers at this point in college. And if he can maintain 2 P/G this year (which is still a longshot), he really is a blue chip prospect.

Noticed that 91 who keeps setting him up is Filip Hallander who is up for the 2018 draft and leads Timra in points.

Noted as a good 2 way center/winger.

Right now the projection for Hallander is mid 1st to mid 2nd round pick.

Yeah love that steal there on the second goal. Crazy

I think with Gaudette I'm keeping my expectations at "a great 3rd line center"... if you can get that out a 5th round pick you take it every time.

Really the Canucks will just need that depth as center is a tough position for the club. Adding Gaudette and Pettersson (if he stays at center) gives them okay depth. Then they just need to tackle the horror that is their future D-core which could desperately use Tryamkin.

Well, although I'm not super stoked on Juolevi's progression so far... I'm still willing to bet that, eventually, he'll be a solid 3-4 defenceman. Maybe better. Between him, Stretch, Hutton and hopefully Tryamkin, that's a pretty solid crowd. Our D is like our forwards, we could still really use a star or two.

Kole Lind is killing it it Kelowna. Currently 8th in scoring in the WHL - 3 pts ahead of Cody Glass. Too bad about the Gadjovich's injury, hopefully its not too long.
