Teemu Pulkkinen's upside?

Obviously he had a great showing at the World Juniors, but what is his potential upside in the NHL?

Without significantly improved skating, he's not going to make the NHL

I agree. His shot is heavy but lacks accuracy badly. It's a good thing he has decided to start hitting but without major upgrades in his 2-way game and skating he won't make it to the big show.

His accuracy usually isnt really as bad as in the WJC's this year. But I do agree that he has to work on his skating.

If everything goes right I can see him end up being a 2nd/3rd liner and a PP specialist in the NHL.

Jiri Hudler has terrific offensive instincts. World class offensive instincts.
Hudler is slow but can sort of carve out a niche for himself because he is a great passer and he knows where to go. (if Hudler even had the skating of a guy like Drew Miller, he'd probably be a leading scorer in the NHL).
Pulkkinen doesn't have Hudler's offensive awareness—at least not that I can see.
That skating must improve.

Jokerit whooping HPK as usual (6-0 after two periods), Pulkkinen with 0+2 so far.

Edit: game finished 7-0 Pulkkinen helped set up Janne Lahti for a hat trick, so he finished with 0+3.

The wings need to get him into some intensive off season power skating regiment for the next couple years.. you never know. Once he gets a bit stronger and
Maybe becomes average in speed then he's Gunna be fine. Speaking of his fellow countryman armia the sabers got themselves a very talented player.
