Jumped into the rush a few times.
Was skating really well.
I saw him stand one guy up at the blueline with a nice hip check.
Just looked more comfortable though I'll admit I didn't see much of the Flames game.

Made some brutal passes/giveaways in his own zone. Lost the puck a lot. Yeah, he improved, but he wasn't setting the world on fire. He did have one shift where he got a breakaway, but he got stripped of the puck before taking the shot. All in all hopefully he takes his experience away from here realizing he has a lot of work to do back in juniors, and gets to it.

Can anyone comment on Nurse against the Canucks? Heard he was much improved.

It's pretty clear he has an impressive skill set. I thought the biggest issue with Nurse both games was indecisiveness. He needs to bear down, focus and be ultra competitive every second of his shifts.

One guy who impressed me a ton with always making the right play and always being calm under pressure was Betker. For all the flack MacT took on this site for the pick, Betker did really well from what I saw of him in this tournament.

Since they're all pretty much 4th lines in terms of skill level, it's all good.

These guys are going to be in tough tonight against a very solid Bears team.
