How does someone like this become Captain? He's like everything you wouldn't want your Captain to be outside of the skill he had before.

Interesting how the 14–15 Art Ross Trophy became a battle between a baseball player and a lacrosse player. No wonder in the end a mere 87 points were enough to snatch it.

Whats wrong with Benn as Captain? That he played baseball as a teenager? lmfao

I know Benn was one of those guys that as a teenager he could not train all summer and just show up to training camp and be one of the best players one the ice. He never took hockey seriously until after his first pro camp and began working out in the off season. Maybe he never developed the off ice training intensity needed to keep him going for a full career and is starting to tailspin now.

Yes his training habits as a 16 year old are starting to affect him as a 30 year old. Good analysis.
