Wed normally be playing the division finals this week. The playoffs in the prairies are gonna be rough here, very cold and very snowy. Luckily in Sask and Wpg two fanbases that care the least about the elements. Wpg is looking at a sold out december game potentially

I mean its a nothing game against the lowly Elks but you gotta be impressed with Rourke tonight. He hasnt been quite as good as TSN is siggesting but ges still been very impressive. Would love to get a starting Canadian QB in the league, our last real hope was Brandon Bridge but that fizzled out. Future does look bright in BC, IMO.

The Elks were a complete mess on and off the field all season. They needed to put a grenade to this.

Wally Buono is being brought in as a consultant for the transition

The Elks fired everyone.

This was really the only option they had after the disaster they were on and off the field this year. This is the right move for them. They should have no trouble turning it around over there if they bring in the right people, its a great fanbase thats been knocked around for years by poor management. Easier to turn that around than a team like TOR with little to no fanbase to build on.

If you think about, outside of that Grey Cup year in 2015, Edmonton has been a pretty mediocre team since about the mid-2000's.

As a Stampeders fan myself, it's kinda made the rivalry with Edmonton not be as big as it once was. I'm one of a number of Stamps fans who now considers Saskatchewan to be a bigger rivalry than Edmonton.

Playoff time.

Winner of Montreal @ Hamilton faces off against Toronto.
Winner of Calgary @ Saskatchewan versus defending-champ Winnipeg.

The one thing missing was competent football...

I mean it was exciting but it looked like a pre-season game. Even the picks were just bad decisions by the QBs, not like defenders made unreal plays.

Just shocked both quarterbacks with so much expirience made some of those throws. Guess it was just one of those game where madness ruled.

Cody Fajardo almost has to be perfect coming up against the Bombers

So he is vaccinated...and everyone at the arena is vaccinated and he was encouraged to go to the game. And now he probably misses out on the Eastern Final? This is dumb all the way around to the illogical rule that makes no sense, to MLSE disregarding them or not knowing about them and f***ing their starting QB.

Guarantee you he starts that game on Sunday.

The CFL simps over Toronto too hard to not look the other way here. On the verge of going to the grey Cup and feeding the delusional that Toronto cares about the CFL? They will bend the rules for him.

He should sit, largely just because of MLSE's staggering incompetence, but he won't

Of course. Gotta protect the team in the market where no could be bothered to give a shit.

Does Zach Collaros or Cody Fajardo get the same charity from the league? Probably not. Or hell even Hamilton's QB?
Oh it’s clear BS. CFL is trying desperately to build a fanbase in Toronto (futile as that may be) and they probably see this game as a big opportunity to try to grow that fanbase. Losing the starting QB and four other Argos is a death blow to those hopes.

But that doesn’t matter. Stick to your f***ing protocols like you made everyone else. Bush league.
