lindström have never been good in tre kronor.

and yes grönborg is insane, so is mårts, båg and hardy nilsson. tre kronor is cursed with insane coaches for a long time.

Next coach will be Torgny Bendelin.

Watched some post-season interviews from the canucks, from what I could gather Edler will not go, Markström might, said he had "a couple of things to look up"

I hope you’re not serious, that is just completely ludacris. Thinking that top SHL edge at 30ish years old will be able to compete against some of the better dmen in the NHL and the best dmen available in the KHL when they werent in the olympics is dumb.

It’s far better to go with a joker like Elias Pettersson who might score a ton or who might not score at all, is far better than going with the guy you think is a safer option when infact he scored less points in more games while not having 10 different linemates in a season. He is just inferior it’s that easy.

Olympics was just four games and as I said better team defense. Thomas Chabot is not better d-men. Elias Pettersson weigh 10 kilo less than Erik Karlsson.

A-S-P-A-R-A-G-U-S! Didn't get nowhere last four games in U-20.

PS. Should you not root for Pär Lindholm (as well) who is 26 and on his way to NHL?

Ludacris, not serious, dumb...have you been around social media much the last few years? :) At least you agree Lindström is the safer option.

It's a good feeling we might get either of William Karlsson or Adrian Kempe!

It should be unlikely.. Nay illegal. At the very least it should be enough to question his mental health. Jocke Lindström didn’t put up any points at all against lesser competition at the olympics and doing the same **** over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

Look at it from Grönis view.

On one hand, there should be stiffer competition for a roster spot now with NHLer involved, compared with the Olympics squad. Lets say EP shines in the Worlds, that would make Grönborg look like an ass for not having EP in the Olympics too. On the other hand there has been a lot of hype around Pettersson AFTER the Olympics, so it will probably be a stronger "mediadrev" if EP is left out again. And you dont want a mediadrev against you in the Swe hockey federation.

So if you are Grönborg, get Pettersson on the roster, but dont give him any PP minutes to minimize his production. Success! Not for team Sweden, but for Grönborg.

Yes as I said it’s safe to say Lindström will not produce.
There is really nothing else to it.

Wow, that’s cynical. Especially since the best option for Grönborg is a successfull WHC.

he is not. he was terrible in last whc. he is not even good enough for nhl, he just get callups when injuries happens and the chicago fans dislike him alot.

sebastian aho and jonathan ericsson is better.
He’s had two full years of NA experience since the last WHC he played.

Jonathan Ericsson really? Why don’t we just ask Tallinder to come out of retirement.

If you mean the finnish Sebastian Aho then sure.

Yeah, 2 years of AHL experiance.

Jonathan Ericsson is a NHL regular unlike Gustavsson.

Sebastian Aho, the defender, is better than Erik Gustavsson.

That’s not true, he has 76 NHL games over the last two years which is more or less a full season, so one year of AHL experience and one of NHL experience. For the last half of that (this season) he’s logged top Four minutes and scored 16 points (in 35 games). Which is very much good Numbers for an NHL regular.

Jonathan Ericsson is an NHL regular only by reputation and by playing for Detroit at this point.

Sebastian Aho is so far behind Gustafsson at this point it’s not even debatable come on.

Is Nemeth a perfect fit as sixth d-man or can we do better?
