Did not look very promising after two periods vs. Switzerland, but finally they started producing in the last period vs. Switzerland.
IMO, Noah Östlund (although he had sort of one major defensive blunder) was the best Swede again. No one on this team is really close to him when it comes to skating-puckhandling-hockey sense. With some additional strength and muscles, he'll be a force in the future.
Jonathan Lekkerimäki had a much better game and scored two sweet goals. Promising. Also Leo Carlsson looked a lot better.
Not a fan of Mattias Hävelid, but he did make some nice offensive plays. One of few defensemen on this team that can control the puck with confidence on the offensive blue line.
Defensively, another poor game by Sweden imo. The defensemen have major problems handling the forecheck. Sloppy passing as well. Really missing that solid two-way defenseman who can lead the team from his own end. We've been fortunate to have such defensemen for quite a few tournaments, but not this year imo.
Should be an interesting game vs. Finland.
