I'm sure what Friedman really meant was that Taylor Hall got on the team bus to the airport. Because seriously, the final buzzer was just a little over an hour and a half ago. The players have to change out of their gear, probably shower (I'm sure there are some who don't - I'll admit I was one of those players who didn't shower at the rink after games and instead wait until I got home), the gear has to be packed up, loaded onto the bus, then transferred from the bus to the plane, blah blah blah. It's 10:15 p.m. Arizona time and I'd be shocked if the plane carrying the team is even off the ground yet.

Still time for Chayka and Taylor Hall gets off the plane just before it's about to take off?

(Though the running gag is that considering it's 10:15, John Chayka is probably already in bed )


Edit: I didn't even mention that GRA isn't exactly close to the airport (which is one of many problems of its location and... okay maybe I should keep this can of worms closed.)

Wouldn’t simply saying it doesn’t look like a deal is going down tonight be a little more factual? Him presenting the idea of Hall having already flown back with his team as a figure speech is a little strange.
