Not a huge fan of Shero but idk what GM would have changed this in five years either. People do not understand how bad Lou left this team. No prospects, no picks, oldest roster in the league. There was nothing here. We are still developing guys from the 15-16 drafts. This shit takes time.

The fact they made the postseason in 17-18 was simply an incredible feat by Hall and that team. But it wasn’t indicative of where they were at in this process.

Thankfully now we have a good core of forwards to build around, and Blackwood is really coming into his own. Just give me another goalie, one or two dmen and a scoring winger. Lot to ask but its light years aheads of where we were at before Shero came on. We have the assets and picks to make deals in order to fill these holes.

I don't know about that. They traded for Hall. They traded for Subban.
Frolik's contract is up at the end of the season. I don't see them being afraid of Frolik - especially if it improves their return for Hall.

Seattle doesn’t start play until October of 2021. So he wouldn’t play for almost two years. Even if it was possible, who is going to sign a player to a contract when he’s not doing anything for another almost two years.
