It would be EXTREMELY weird for them to not announce any type of promotion before they would say he was relieved of his duties as Laval HC...but honestly now that I think about it, nothing would surprise me with these bozos running things.

Exactly why the possibility he replaces JJ is still there. He was relieved of his duties as head coach of Laval. Nothing about him hittin' the road for good is mentioned.

I'm holding my applause until I see who ends up assisting Julien behind the bench next season. If Lefebvre's contract runs beyond this week I doubt they'll let him sit on his butt doing nothing while being paid. They'll put him to work doing something that will no doubt cause player development irreparable harm.
