Is Geisser beaten up? Looking at the tournament he has been playing so far I would have put him in.

Both he and Heldner should be in purely based on their play during the group stage. Alatalo, Untersander and to a lesser degree Siegenthaler have been clearly worse than them until now.

What an interesting match-up!

I'd put Switzerland as the favorites, but it could still be a very close game.

germany plays too passive with the forechecking. possession is good but no real pressure.

switzerland has more talent in their roster. if they get space and time, they ll score. not every shot can be blocked.

True. Still refing has been kinda strange for us the entire tournament. Bourding decisions against Canada while in other games I have seen way worse. I think two offside goals and the more then questionable penalty shot against Kazakhstan and here it goes again not calling penalties for delaying the game. The 50:50 decisions really not going our way in this one.

Edit: 2 times no penalties given for Switzerland for delaying the game

Germany is playing a solid match, but two defensive mistakes, two goals.
Never seen Switzerland being this cynical before

Well thats probably it. Dont see us coming back in a tight game like that.

That delay of game needs to be seen by 4 refs though, it was not a close call
