Francisco Oporta (@FJOJR) tweeted at 0:30 AM on Sat, Mar 08, 2014: The Florida Panthers have made Club Red reasonably affordable. HUGE move to return fans burned by Yormark. #NHL
If true, huge step in righting Yormark's mistakes. Already. Loving the way this franchise is moving in right now. For the first time in a while.
How much was it before? I never even thought about looking at the prices before..

Around 20k a year I think. Aka ridiculous.
Was that $20,000 price tag for just Panthers games or all/most events at the BAC (>BB&T)? I have no idea if the prices in the above image are less than before.
Who is this Yorkmark I keep hearing about in here?

All events. $22,500 was the price they were asking for originally.
Source: My season tickets used to be there and they kicked me out.
I could have sworn it was 26k? Regardless, either price is still ludicrous. I'm sorry that clown Yormark kicked you out of your seats
Kicked me out too after they had taken my money the prior season on a 2 year renewal.
These were the seats BTW with my name on them to evidence the team's earlier promise that they were and would remain my seats forever as long as I renewed them. So I literally got kicked out of paid-for seats with my name on them to make way for Club Red.
And this is how the Panthers treat a STH who has stayed loyal to a team missing the playoffs for 10 of the last 11 seasons.
BTW, it is not lost on me that the Cats actually saved money acquiring Lou at 85% and trading Thomas, Goc, Weaver, Matthias and Markstrom at the TDL. It is also not lost on me that the new ownership is already crying poor demanding more concessions from Broward County while telling the fans that they are going to be free spenders in the off season. Feels a lot like same old same old....
Here is the map with the new club red footprint.
They raised my prices $11 a seat so they want me to pay an extra $900 for seats next year. Here's an idea put a good product on the ice and then raise prices. Don't give me a **** sandwich and tell me I can have another one next time but it will cost me more.
It looks like they have dropped prices in some areas compared to what they were last year. It also looks like they are trying to make a standardized pricing system instead of all of Yormark's gimmicks. Which is screwing the current/longtime season ticket holder but is offering a better "list" price to new/returning people who believe what the owners are saying.

Well STHs do get free parking which would normally cost $20/game. For my tics (lower bowl end zone, shoot twice end), the cost per game per seat ($25) is low enough that it would be hard to match anywhere else.Question for season ticket holders...
Why? Why get season tickets when you can pretty much get tickets for any game, whenever you want, at a reasonable if not great price?
When I lived in Florida I flirted with the idea of season tickets but between work, cost of traveling to games, having other things to do, etc. it just didn't make any sense.
I am currently in Section 133 and they raised my full season prices $8 a ticket or $688 for both seats (total cost for 2 full season seats $4988). I am moving to Section 132 - about 15 seats or so from my current seats - and am going to pay $25 a ticket for a total of $2150 for both full season seats.
What happened is they changed two sections - 132 and 121 - from lower bowl sidelines to lower end. These two sections dropped dramatically in cost.
I was told they are trying to move as many folks as possible to the lower bowl.

And I usually sell the games I decide not to go to and just apply that to next seasons tics. I usually make a good amount selling those big name teams when they come to town.
As for the parking, you can park at Sawgrass free and get police escorted across. That seat I think is A $30-$35 seat (I sit there a lot too, not an STH), so yeah you get a bit of a break per game. My problem with STHs is that you have to commit to going to those games, especially if you get a mini plan, and in my every day life at least I don't know what's going to happen one day to the next. Yeah, I know you can customize plans to fit your schedule but I'd rather just pay the extra 5-10 per since you can get seats the night before or night of for any game when I know I will be going. This isn't even mentioning I have friends who work for BBT and the Panthers who often comp me.
If we lived in Toronto or something it would be a different story. I'd kill for a bigger fan base and better attendance but in this regard it is not so bad having a smaller fan base.
