Well that sucks but ask yourself these questions, did they have fun during their season, did they learn from their mistakes on the ice and did you enjoy being a part of their season. I think the answer to all those questions is yes and that's the most important part.

Oh for sure. I have it all in perspective and have since day 1 of my son’s hockey. That is the advantage of being a mature dad. Same thing goes for coaching the team, it’s all about the journey. I do still hate losing and love winning but that is part of the fun.
