Although Petteri Nummelin is hurt he has the best shootout percentage in NHL history he would be on any nations SO lineup...the man has some of the best hands in the world and just made it look too easy.

No one understands why Gretzky was not put in, but many feel that Crawford choose Bourque in place of the Great One. Gretzky was definitely at the end of his career...but come on, it's Gretzky!!

Gretzky simply sat on the bench with his head in his hands looking dejected, following the OT loss against Hasek.

I just read the OT and SO format. Shootouts are 3 shooters.

In the prelims, it is 5 minutes of 4 on 4, followed by a shootout.

After the prelims, it's a 10 minute 4 on 4 OT then shootout.

The Gold Medal would be a 20 minute 4 on 4 OT then shootout.

Parise will probably end up going first simply because of experience, but Pavelski is definitely impressive so far.
