That 2005-06 year was his career best with a excellent playoffs.

No one in the game was better at fanning on prime scoring oppurtunities then Horcoff. Was a warrior though.

Sounds like his retirement didn't last very long per Friedman he will likely be joining Detroit in a player development role.

I, like many others, thought Horcoff was very good, no great until he tore his shoulder all to crap. After that, his scoring touch was gone. That happened at an all star game, IIRC.

Didn't think he was that great of a captain, either, but when your mentor is Ethan Moreau, yikes.
