Why? We have Prout and Harrington + Nutivaara up already. A Golo call up just means he'll sit and then be exposed to waivers in a few weeks.

Well that sucks.
I hope we get to see Golo and Harrington get a chance. Golo is decent all around and a righty like Jones. If he doesn't get a chance to play now I can't imagine what the angst about him on waivers is for.
I don't know who should pair with Werenski, but JJ has been playing better than Savard and has more right side experience than Murray, who is off his game anyways.
That or put Werenski in a sheltered situation with Golo or Savard.

This sucks. Hopefully we can maintain atleast a .500 pace without Jones in the lineup. Big loss, his play with Werenski was very promising. As long as Murray and Savard (a failed experiment in the past) aren't together, we'll manage for the time being.

Heard the story about how it happened on 1460. Blues player stepped on his skate and cut through laces and skate. Jones didn't want to take skate off and had laces replaced and played 2nd, third and OT with the injury. Post game sock was soaked with blood. Hope he heals quickly....
