Looking at Tampa's roster, a lot of things are going to have to go right for the Devils to pull this off.

Zajac's line is going to need to come up huge. Special teams are going to need to come up huge. Kinkaid is going to need to continue his recent play as well.

I'm hoping for the best, but this is going to be tough.

100% Agree. This is the only time of year that the .010 that separates nearly every goalie in the league matters.

But even so, timely saves will always rule out. Scoring first is huge, taking a lead into the 3rd is even bigger.

I think this goalie can be grinded down. I think guys like Wood, Coleman, Zacha, Maroon, Zajac and Palmieri...can cause a lot of havoc in Vasilevsky's crease...hell, even Nico has shown a willingness to go hard to the net. Vasilevsky should be bumped, jabbed at and forced to battle for pucks in the blue paint. I think he will crack after a 65 game regular season.

Just the fact that he came out publicly, saying that he was tired is another plus for us. If we crash the crease and make him work extra hard for a routine save, we'll benefit from it halfway through the series.

There's a better chance your hotel gets Golf Channel than NHL Network.

+145 isn't much of a dog, devils will be in the +200 range imo.

I really doubt Vegas would put Tampa at 2 to 1 or 2.2 to 1 favorites given the Devils beat them every time this season. I think my 1.45 to 1 guess will be closer.

They should outlaw secondary markets on these tickets that double and triple the face value. People shouldn’t be spamming Ticketmaster with bots just so they can gouge real fans that can’t click fast enough.

Tyler Johnson is what worries me in this series. I think the Zajac line can do a decent enough job with the Stamkos/Kucherov pairing, but another line + either of our bottom 2 D pairings going up against a guy that has looked unstoppable in his previous 2 playoff runs (40 points in 43 games) is a scary thought.
