From here on in the team has to go 35-26-3 to get to 98 points. Barring some miracle that's probably not happening, but winning on Tuesday is a start.
Sorry to say but they have only 54 games remaining, not 64 as in your count. To get to 98 points they'd need to go 35-16-3. 96 points would most likely also be enough for the playoffs. Considering how bad the Atlantic is they might even sneak in with 92. So 34-17-3 or possibly 32-19-3 in the most optimistic of circumstances. Yay optimism
This will likely be Boucher's last game with Ottawa.

Him selling the team would be a good start.I hope they lose this game, it’ll be a crossroads moment for the franchise and be interesting to see where the pressure bursts?
Trade, Coach, GM, goalie coach, Scott Gomez?
Also have to think Melnyck is about to blow a gasket. If we lose this game I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a knee jerk reaction
“I hope the message gets out that it doesn’t get better than this,”
“I just hope people recognize that I’ve done my side of the deal. We’re giving you a great team and team some other teams would like to have. I feel we’re going to be a contender. What else could Pierre add that’s available? I feel like we’ve got some guys in Belleville who could blossom. I love where are.”
